Monitoring our landscapes
To understand the impact of our work, Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu monitors both the activities we deliver and the outcomes they lead to. This includes tracking changes in the condition of land, water, biodiversity and coastal areas across the region.
We assess progress at three levels:
- Short-term outcomes – such as how well our programs support landholders, community members and partners, and how on-ground actions are helping to manage key threats
- Intermediate outcomes – including improvements in community capacity and early signs of change in local landscape condition
- Long-term outcomes – broader changes in the health and resilience of landscapes that typically take many years to emerge
Download our MERI Framework
Our Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Improvement (MERI) Framework supports us to track, assess and report on our progress against the Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Plan, as well as learn from, and improve our work throughout the plan’s delivery.
